Aftur í Galway (english version below)

Þá er ég kominn aftur í yndislega bæinn Galway eftir sumar á Íslandi og stutta dvöl á Ítalíu. Stutt samantekt: Vinir okkar Báru, Mike og Janet komu til Íslands í byrjun sumar og við sýndum þeim meirihlutan af suðurlandinu, Þingvelli, Gullfoss, Geysi og auðvitað skátamiðstöðina Úlfljótsvatn auk ættarmóts og afmælis. Síðan gerðist lítið þangað til ég kíkti á klifurnámskeið með Tyrone (kíkið á myndirnar á síðunni hans hér til hliðar). Í ágúst fór ég svo á skátamót til Ítalíu í tvær vikur sem var mjög áhugavert. Skipulagningin auðvitað í molum þar sem Ítalirnir sáu um hana en ég hitti hins vegar mjög mikið af áhugaverðu og skemmtilegu fólki frá Þýskalandi, Finnlandi, Sviss, Írlandi, Englandi, Belgíu, Lúxemburg, Frakklandi og auðvitað Ítalíu. Núna er ég svo kominn til Galway og er að rembast við að byrja á verkefninu aftur en hugsa ekki um annað en að næsta skátaatburð sem ég gæti hugsanlega komist á!

Nóg í bili, best að reyna að leita sér að einhverjum peningum!

Well, here I am, back in the wonderfull town of Galway after a summer in Iceland and a stint in Italy. Short summary of the summer: Our friends Janet and Mike came to Iceland in the beginning of summer and we showed them the most of the southern part of Iceland, Þingvelli, Gullfoss, Geysi and of course the Úlfljótsvatn scout centre, a family gathering and a birthday. After that I went on a rock climbing course with Tyrone (check out the photos on his page). In August I went on a scout camp in Italy for two weeks which was very interesting. The organisation was in shambles but I think most people expected that from the Italians :) The camp was good though and I met scores of good people from Germany, Finland, Switzerland, Ireland, England, Belgium, France, Luxemburgh and of course Italy.
Now I am in Galway tryin desperately to start my research project but all I can think about is the next possible scouting venue I can go to.

Well, enough for now. Best start focusing on getting some funding for this darned project!
