Á leið til Ameríku! (english below)

Þá er að koma að því, er á leiðinni til Ameríku. Er að fara að heimsækja frænku mína og fjölskyldu hennar í Barstow sem er rétt fyrir utan Los Angeles og kíki svo á ráðstefnu í San Diego í nokkra daga líka. Var svo heppinn að fá student presenter grant frá samtökunum sem standa fyrir ráðstefnunni þannig að ég þarf ekkert að borga þar :D Jibbý kóla!

Annars er ég alveg að farast úr stressi yfir þessari ráðstefnu. Á að vera með tvo fyrirlestra þarna, annan um rannsóknina mína og svo tek ég þátt í pallborðsumræðum um stöðu atferlisgreiningar á heimsvísu. Ég á víst að vera rödd stúdenta í Evrópu... fyndið.

Fer á mánudag og kem aftur 4 júní! Sunny California here I come!!!

It's almost there now, I'm going to the Schtates (Irish pronunciation). Going to visit my aunt and her family in Barstow, a small town outside of LA and then pop into a conference in San Diego for a few days. Was lucky enough to get the student presenter grant from the association that is hosting that conference so I don't have to pay that :D Jibbý kóla! (don't ask, Icelandic thing).

But, I am almost doubling over out of stress because of that conference. I am supposed to present twice there. Once on my research and then I am in a panel discussion about the status of behaviour analysis internationally. I am supposed to be the voice of students in Europe... funny.


Going on Monday and coming back to the Emerald Isle on the 4th of June. Sunny California, here I come!!!
